i think the best you can get right now is qwen 3.8 27B. youre gonna need 24 gigs of some fast memory though, i heard theres decent quantizations that can also make it run on 16. im quite excited about open/local models, but theres big investment overhead with the prices right now

You might be able to try out colibri, its quite good and the models are a bit better. I am unable to connect any of the cli agents to do things with it though, probably due to context limits, but try it out. OlMoe is the lightest

Today, I wrote a new Business Continuity Plan, worked with my SRE manager to improve responses to alerts, got a cringe email from HR and have to tell my staff to RTO 3-days a week if not classified as remote. Worked out for my 8th day streak, and cuddled in bed with my girl. Hello World

I remain #AInotesfollow ambiguous. This morning I used pi+gpt5.6 to create a #vimnotesfollow color scheme based on evergarden.moe. My past 3 projects went viral. I didnโ€™t write a single line of code in any of them. But I still feel I engineered them. There were a few people that noticed but the majority didnโ€™t see an issue.

You're fortunate in that you've genuinely captured something that people clearly want with textlog. No one wants another static site generator or coding harness. Ideas that resonate are pretty few and far between now.

I should have said past 4 projects went viral but the other one I did a lot of coding too, so wasnโ€™t entirely โ€œAI slopโ€. In all cases though, I made something I wanted to see. It just happened to resonate with others. Still, none of them extremely popular yet. All <500 users.
