Nudged by an interesting read about time perception to try reclaim moments where I can deliberately feel bored again.

If I went back in time, I would aim to become a professional footballer rather than becoming a programmer

Was prompting Claude via remote control on my phone in btwn sets at the gym this morning. I use peonpingpeonping.compeon-ping — Stop babysitting your terminalSound notifications for any AI agent — hooks for Claude Code, Cursor, Codex & more, plus an MCP server so the agent can choose its own sounds., so my wife kept hearing a StarCraft SCV periodically reporting "job's finished" from my office 😆

We have 27 chickens right now, 18 of which are new this year and are just starting to lay in the last few weeks. I have collected 13 eggs today so far.

I am trying to wrap my head around Traefik (which I have never used; have only used Caddy for most of my needs) to plan a migration for things I now run on "bare metal” to containers, and then use Traefik as entry point. If you know some good guides, send the link my way, please.

I'm about to start a 30+ hrs longer train journey, If you have any advice, please share it.

Run Claude code in docker sandbox (sbx) to ensure it only has current folder access and limited or no network access. Especially since a lot of runs are now in “auto mode”. Unless even this is not really so safe!? #ainotesfollow

Sick makes me calm. My mind goes quiet for some time. I can sit and look at the horizon. Or just contemplate the different shades of white of my ceiling while laying on my bed. I miss the silence of my youth.

Just found a nice patch of sun in a comfy spot on the couch. Maybe cats do have some things worked out.

Somehow, I can't work in the mornings. Going to the office earlier just makes longer the "warmup period", this is, the period I stare the computer's screen reading stuff that is completely unrelated to my work. #ASDnotesfollow

There are days llms impress, and days they don’t. I debugged an issue with Astra and it said it had no idea what’s going on and need to ask me before taking serious actions. Me adding “-f” to a mv and problem solved. So today I was not impressed.

I’m getting my canon rebel t6 tomorrow yay!!

New in agenttop.dev : panels open in your #multiplexernotesfollow. 🤹‍♂️ • Any panel can now split into its own pane, live, beside the #agentsnotesfollow table. • Works with all the popular multiplexers: #𝘁𝗺𝘂𝘅notesfollow, #𝘇𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗷notesfollow, #𝗪𝗲𝘇𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺notesfollow 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘁𝘆. • run a panel on its own: agent-top mcp, agent-top slow, agent-top fails, agent-top advice. ➕ The # MCP panel also lists the orphaned MCP processes that outlived their agent and are still eating memory.

I've avoided social media (except YouTube) all my life, but this looks like it could finally be a better way to do it. Maybe I'll keep a running journal of cool things I'm working on here or weird bugs that I've found. Or just the struggles of coding. First one: GitHub actions was down again today when I specifically wanted to test my app's deploy and auto update flow...
