I've been working with physical AI - Letting LLMs control robots in a warehouse to collaborate and collectively come up with a physically correct solution to carry out a natural language intent. We had to study the reactive nature of agents, nudges they required, etc.

haha that's a coincidence. Site looks awesome. The moving away from ROS2 part is so true. One of our main potential customers for physical AI solutions (a telecom provider in JP) communicated the need for agents to be able to pick up controls from any vendor

I apologize if that sounded obvious/non-obvious/amateurish haha. I was an intern and worked more on the agentic side of things, it was just a non-primary experiment
The job market feels like it's been run over by a truck. What's the play here? Anything automated/streamlined (job platforms, LinkedIn, etc.) feels like a dead end. Messaging people, networking and so on seems like the only reasonable way, and that's a hustle all on its own.

Onboarded on Claude Team with Unlimited credit usage. In the first day, subscription limits were hit and then it silently went on spending 530 EUR in credits before I noticed.

I knew token-based was more expensive but didnโ€™t imagine that much. Which is why u canโ€™t compete making alternative coding agents, their own subscriptions are much cheaper, but why they do it on their own Teams package is weird. Maybe targetting companies they feel they can pay.

Unfortunately no. Just starting it. Got the proof of concept loading a dir with its sub-dirs then rendering on the GPU in textures silky smooth. 1.7mb executable, but will need to level up to SDL and that will double the size I think.

I agree. It is #zilchnotesfollow for now. Will do better next time, but in my defence the text above the text box (when writing a new message, not a reply) says โ€œWhatโ€™s on your mindโ€. :-P

Developed a Vinboard (my pinboard.in clone) shortcut, works really well. On iOS it lives in Share menu, on macOS in the Dock. Click sends the current browser page (Safari, Chrome, Zed, Firefox) for bookmarking. On the server side Jev decides tags from 60 least recently used; and archival opens a real Chrome to save the whole page for posterity. Unlimited API limits and direct requests to the database. Pinboard charges for much less functionality $22/year.

An idea and a solution in about 10 minutes. Madness.

I am a remote worker, and has been for 4 years now. It works great. But the owner of the office I've been renting have sold the building, and the new owner has different visions. Microservices. Not really programming, as this is more on the architectural level. Microservices is a valid approach when you need to address massive scale. The thing is, I have seen it applied to things that could realistically serve its audience in a handful of modest servers with a less fashionable approach. It was done under the guise of simplification; each individual microservice was in fact very small. But this at the cost of absolute spaghetti architecture.
