Are tokens an equivalent of work? Like a currency and therefor a tool to steer and prioritize work in large orgs. Hypothesis: In the end all workpackages will consist of 1 accountable human and 99% tokens burnt by an ai.
Same! I like that it doesn't make the click sound and still give me the proper keystroke feedback :)

this is mainly a problem of switches. get a keyboard formfactor you like with a good body and replacable switches. thatll be the only keyboard you need for the rest of your life. if you want to change things up, buy new switches and caps.
i personally use Outemu Silent Lime V3 Silent Tactile switches from aliexpress, and highly recommend them as they are cheap, feel awesome and are very quiet

I really enjoy low-profile keyboards for this very reason. Depending on your system of course, but the most silent keyboard I've used (and still use) is the Mac Magic Keyboard. But most low profile ones are in my experience pretty quiet.
how do you do things like online identification/tickets for services/events? From my experience in germany a lot of these are online only. Same with like the vaccination certificate back in covid times

Started reading exactly that and man it's mind-blowing.
He's not anti-tech, he's anti big-company-culture-capture. Really insightful for being written in 1998. What I appreciate is he looks at a very wide view of tech, not just modern silicone.

Someone on HN mentioned it as great design. I looked it up and bought it after a while. It's been such a delight. Even the occasional brew gone wrong adds to the experience.
v60 is also nice when I need it to slow down or be the experience a bit meditative. But Chinese tea is the best for that.
i just get lazier and lazier over time. now it is a portafilter espresso machine, DeLonghi Dedicated, along with a separate grinder, Baratza Encore.
what I love is try out regional types of coffee, but this then always outside, and on travels.
