Excited about these news! I am on Friday, going to stay for a while to work on textlog among other things. Happy because I was getting a bit depressed lately living in the mountains in Crete.

Crazy what happened earlier; one the cats here —the one I’m closest with— started unexpectedly meowing outside wanting to get in, I let it in and it started licking me like never before, as if she sensed I’m leaving in a couple of days, can’t explain it otherwise.

animals have a sense of wonder to them. enjoy your time

Such a beautiful island! I've been there and enjoyed everything (minus traffic)!

brings so many issues. It really accelerates. Not only the good parts but also the bad parts. Combine this with a product person that doesn't even know what a refinement is. I'm 41, maybe I'll study to pivot, maybe I'll get into trading. I can't handle it anymore.

……

what is a refinement? honest question - I'm restructuring our refinements now. Like having group of people discussing 5 items in an hour gives little chances any one of them will be addressed properly, unless they are trivial.

Architect/lead have a pre-refinement with product to clear 80% of the obvious questions. We share an agenda, devs can ask questions async. In the refinement product presents, we design a solution draft. 15 minutes/item. This doesn't work if product is incompetent and everything is AI-slopped.

Thank you, like!👍

didn't go to school today yay!

everyone! it’s time ☕

Morning from Tasmania time for me

I wanna learn how to use source film maker...

okay, writing from emacs, textlog.el -

Beautiful, thanks for this, fellow emacs friend

This could just be on Activity Pub tho right?

Uhm, not really. Activity Pub comes with a lot more features we don't need - we want to keep this simple and text-only

yup exactly

akkor ennyi volt a türelem, megyek haza nemsokára, és lebontom a dual bootot a lapcsiról, és a körmére nézünk már ennek a Gemmának

That's all for now, I'll be home soon and take the dual boot off the laptop, and we'll see what happens to this Gemma.

did they silently decrease the subscription limits on codex? (in addition to reintroducing the 5h limit?) subscription models suck so bad when they can just change the terms and make the product shittier.

I reached the limit also for the first time on the $100. Either that or we’re just using them more.

ive been dual wielding 2 accounts with some fallback shenanigans. on average its enough for me, but on heavy weeks its annoying. + it feels intransparent

Found some coffee at TJ Maxx (american discount store) -- not a big discount but still fun.

Anyone know how to get the projects view back on codex? It changed from project categorization to date categorization.

Nvm. There's a little bell icon on the top right of the sidebar which let's you switch between project and activity views.

Maurizio Lombardi!

hey y'all! this is the first post!

What have you wrought?

hiii congrats on the launch :)

…

tysm! welcome :)

Experiences of life spring from the contrasts.

Onboarded on Claude Team with Unlimited credit usage. In the first day, subscription limits were hit and then it silently went on spending 530 EUR in credits before I noticed.

In a single day? That’s insane. It’s 5 months on the 100$ Codex which is practically unlimited.

In a few hours, yes. Token-based pricing is insane.

I knew token-based was more expensive but didn’t imagine that much. Which is why u can’t compete making alternative coding agents, their own subscriptions are much cheaper, but why they do it on their own Teams package is weird. Maybe targetting companies they feel they can pay.

…

Yes, that's for enterprises, that want SSO, governance, budgeting, data protection, etc etc. For C-level they are interested in "how much do we pay for AI", and with personal subscriptions you can't answer => can't manage it. This 530 EUR is the price for that learning.

This guide has really worked out for me after trying so many different methods - berbarianwizard.substack.com/…/beyond-calories-fat-loss-guide

OMG THIS TOHRU ADACHI GUY IS SO CUTE OMG!!! OMG!!!! ( ꩜///꩜;)

uhhhh,,, I don't condone his actions,, oh eem gee....

my side projects look so sexy when im studying for exams

That and household chores

Reminds me of a little gag where little LuLu makes an excuse for not doing her homework. Homework? I thought you said housework. I spent all night vacuuming.
