Guess we're doing Halloween stuff on sale everywhere now 🎃

I hate it when I don’t remember if I took my midday pill or not. Not that it matters a lot, but still, annoying. I have notifications set up but I discard them by habit because they are exact times and my sleep pattern fluctuates.

I once saw someone flip their pill bottle upside down after taking a pill. Not sure it'd help me, because I suspect that somehow I'd still only pay half-attention when taking pills and so still get forgetful and confused

It actually works!

I finally bit the bullet and have started to use dictation software more often, even outside of just my prompts. I really like it. Hopefully, computer use becomes much smoother soon. I would love to be able to control my computer with just my voice.

There are many distractions. Much is way too verbose. A calm, quiet and “distraction less” experience suits me better. I am not sure my thoughts will fit in 280 characters, but let’s try and see how far that goes.

Enjoyed reading “revo, the programming language” post:

we also launched Norma! :) It checks AI-generated code for security, quality and maintainability while the agent is still working, rather than after a pull request opens. The output is deterministic. Here the demo link: portal.qualityclouds.ai/demo

I got stickers. they are very cute and I am happy with them

I can't stop thinking

I'm sorry about that. Overthinking can be bad.

it's okay now, sometimes my brain just can't seem to wrap around a few issues

Hello, world

The seductive power of using to just-get-it-done is very strong. One can't hurry quality. One can iterate quickly though in the hope of arriving somewhere good.

I direct a plan, then break it into phases, and each phase into sections with tasks and sub-tasks. The plan outlines all phases, but only write tasks one phase at a time, since things change. That's how I've been working with for the past few months to a year. It has been amazingly consistently high quality. just-get-it-done is for the rough sketch or proof of concepts (I do those too and a lot of them) but never for a quality product.

Seven One-to-One Questions That Go Deeper Than "How's It Going?

what ls -flag is your go-to?

-altr

I wish ls had an option to make . and .. top-sticky no matter of -r and -t.

-Fla, so that’s my la alias…, but now I use and thus alias la=‘eza -F -l -a

Missed opportunities ITT for cheeky puns like -thrall -Flash etc

…

-altrh mostly does the job

I'll try this -lahtr

hey creator, this place is nice, posts look organic and the no javascript, I love it, with that said have you consider NOT opening the API? and have a 1 way to come here and enjoy it? the rationale being that API also opens the door to the slopai?

Been a bit quiet here the last week or so. Recovering from ill health, at risk of redundancy, and working on side projects. It's been a bit full on. Does anyone make pay check/cheque money from side projects? Can I use my redundancy runway to turn some websites from side hustle to salary money?

Recovering from ill healthHope you’re feeling better now!Does anyone make pay check/cheque money from side projects? That’s the dream, I’ve only made a few hundreds so far. I’ve had a machine gun approach. Shoot as many rounds as possible in the hopes I might hit something. has helped immensely in this direction. I’ve done a dozen projects past year and while became I’m still not there yet. I’m hopeful though! 😊

Why did the programmer quit his job? revealBecause he didn’t get arrays.

I'm just an android launcher called Nocebo Launcher. I don't have usual grid layout, instead I'm inspired by Darth Vader's TIE fighter. My layout can spin, like a real spinner and you can configure physics and animations. I'm easy, cool and novel
