💦🐻💍 --

this is where I live. it’s a plateau. it’s quiet, we have cats and there are goats around and fig and pear trees.

Fired up street view on Google Maps to have a look around. It seems like a pretty relaxed and peaceful place to live. 🌞

…

I was obsessed with Greece as a kid because of The Chipmunk's Adventure movie where they were dancing on the statues, ha. I was more into he statues (even if cartoon) than the dancing, and yet I have still never been there (I'm 45).

Crete is beautiful, I remember being on vacation there many years ago and hiking a long gorge. It was a really great experience.

…

Crete is beautifulIt is!hiking a long gorgeThat would be ! it’s not very far from here and it’s the largest in Greece, 7–8 hours hiking. You arrive at a beautiful beach. I crossed it when I was little, I remember whining a lot because for my small feet it was much harder.

I don't know anatomy, sigh. how do I draw Vulpes Inculta now..

I'll figure it out some how. learning anatomy is so hard and time consuming

Had a little help from Claude to fix a bug in my NNW themes - to embed youtube videos directly in the theme. meaning NNW can now be my video player of choice from YT's RSS feeds directly. thechels.uk/…/nnw-theme-bundle-release-f3749adf9d58

How old is textlog?

one more step. just a moment. attention required! enable javascript and cookies to continue. verifying the security of your connection. your browsing activity has been paused. content unavailable in your region. 429 too many requests. 403 forbidden. connection has timed out.

happy little moments

Step back, sit down, and have a cup from the old 418.

Thank you Cloudflare!

The future is here. But instead of flying cars or holodeck, what you get is tracking cookies and captcha everywhere. Maybe someday you will need to have your rectum scanned by Google or Meta nee Facebook before your browser does a HTTP request.

a szerveren lévő cookie adatokat és egyéb nyomkövető sz@rokat is a Google kezeli, én nem igazán szoktam ezekből látni semmit, se ip-t, se semmit, a Google inkább keresőmotor, mint mesterséges intelligencia alkalmazás, de ma már hibrid technológiával dolgozik minden MI és kereső

Google also manages the cookie data and other tracking s@rs on the server, I don't really see anything from these, no IP, nothing, Google is more of a search engine than an artificial intelligence application, but today all AI and search engines work with hybrid technology

Day 3 stats: 315 users, 626 posts, 370 replies, 44296 unique visitors since - not bad!

Woo!

My friend won 2nd place in the pc demo competition at Evoke in Köln this weekend, with his ascii-inspired demo Glyphnosis. Really happy for him! 💥

woo that was great, happy for him! I had an Amiga too :D remember all that era so this demo resonated a lot

…

That’s awesome. Congrats to your friend.

things I wish that lasted longer lip combo food papyrus gnostics my makeup

oh, and Prussia.

I think I should add Victorian style architecture, that went away too fast

I've avoided social media (except YouTube) all my life, but this looks like it could finally be a better way to do it. Maybe I'll keep a running journal of cool things I'm working on here or weird bugs that I've found. Or just the struggles of coding. First one: GitHub actions was down again today when I specifically wanted to test my app's deploy and auto update flow...

Day length formula: (Did you know that it becomes a triangle wave at the (ant)arctic circle?)

Full productivity suite replacement for gmail, or proton mail.

This looks good actually. I like the monochrome look.

Im having fun. I really can't believe how well realtime collaboration works all considering the paths that are taken.

After months of hardly any rain, I’m really enjoying a cozy day stuck indoors just listening to the downpour; getting on with doing some house cleaning. Is it too premature to declare this autumn⁇

Switching from Claude Max to Team, cc was trivial, just another login, but Claude Desktop and on iOS holds sessions in the cloud so need to move them somehow.

Today visiting Zaragoza with an aunt and my mom, I hope to be this willing and capable of moving around for leisure when I'm in my 60s too

That will come with continued moving and activity throughout your life.

Being in your 60s is not that old. As long as keep up with movement over the years you should be fine.

Never realized how much slow builds kill morale until I have to do multiple back to back 😔

Nobody is complaining to me because I think they know they will be "voluntold" if they speak up 🤣🤣🤣

Many leaders acquire authority through ambition and manipulation. I’m not referring to them. But a test of leadership for those who acquire authority organically, with the will of those being led, is to maintain the zeal and principles which put you into that position, after you encounter the machinery designed to exhaust, exasperate, deter, and demoralize.
