This SM is like a subreddit feed, except you also get a personalized feed along with 'hot' and 'latest' for people you follow. Or maybe it's modelled after twitter? Never used it so wouldnt know

Try it, break it, I'll be doing the same. Let me know where it broke for you.

You've hit the nail on the head. But here's the mindblowing partโ€”writing isn't just about text on a page. It's not about listing a bunch of facts to memorize. Writing is about human connection. And here's where it gets even more fascinating... [parody, not AI]

Some writing yes, If you want to write a post saying why your company has a position yes; if you are documenting an API, does the average swagger page have a human connection factor? If you are in X/FB, is any of your followers a "human connection"?
Then, in some spaces, say big corp communications, the terse, direct communication is desired, for example the quarter earning communication? What about software?, what part of your browser gives you the "human connection"?

If writing (incl X/FB posts) is meant to convey "some human being did/saw/thought this and found it worth writing about", then AI undermines human connection and will annoy people. API docs, earnings reports, &c never conveyed that to begin with, so nobody will care about AI use.

For 30 years, productivity skyrocketed through automation, yet longevity plummeted as a direct result of sleep deprivation. While these gains accrue to the owner class, sleep remains an undervalued element of the worker's health. We are trading life expectancy for chump change.

That said, in Canada working class started loosing life expentancy for the 3rd year in a row, and WHO figures show a decline in improvement of life expentancy globally. But hey, I am just a no-one on the internet spewing bs :)

I am pretty sure confience is what is at work in my case. Did you try something specific to improve in that regard?

It's cute because you have to put it in a sandbox right away (Virtualbox is a sandbox) so it doesn't mess up everything on the machine or the server or anywhere else, but these AI chatbots are basically peaceful little animals, right?

The scheme is simple: One night a week, we make twice as much #dinnernotesfollow and drop it off at the other family's house. I have made this longer than usual, only because I have not had the time to make it shorter ~ Blaise Pascal So, should we all give AI agents more time so they'll write things shorter?
Too much sound deafens us; too much light dazzles us; too great distance or proximity hinders our view. Too great length and too great brevity of discourse tends to obscurity; too much truth is paralyzing. - Blaise Pascal You reminded me of this other quote, from what I think might be my absolute favourite passage in B.Pascals Pensรฉes, thank you!
