This is a pretty neat site. I remember having vague ideas about something somewhat close to this but doing nothing with them. #idkwhattagtousenotesfollow
What's your main one? I use Substack Notes a bit these days. I was a big Twitter user (and used to work there) years ago, but stopped using it in 2023.

Sharing your work with others is a hard computer science problem in 2026, the Year of our Lord. You either here the sound of chirping crickets or the sound of "AI Slop" yells.
My past 3 projects went viral. I didnโt write a single line of code in any of them. But I still feel I engineered them. There were a few people that noticed but the majority didnโt see an issue.
You're fortunate in that you've genuinely captured something that people clearly want with textlog. No one wants another static site generator or coding harness. Ideas that resonate are pretty few and far between now.
I should have said past 4 projects went viral but the other one I did a lot of coding too, so wasnโt entirely โAI slopโ. In all cases though, I made something I wanted to see. It just happened to resonate with others. Still, none of them extremely popular yet. All <500 users.
Big list of events you've attended! Definitely dump more photos when you find the time. I'm more of a casual Nu-Metal enjoyer myself, but I can also appreciate some of the classics.
It's taken me 5 years to get a photo storage engine off the ground. I've got it now, so I now have to go back through time and get the photos up.
AC/DC next Thursday!
When I stopped having a job I completely lost interest of huge portion of things I used to have interest before. I could connect all of that to consumerism. And I haven't gained any of that interest back.
It's partly filled with Youtube, admittedly with some slop allowed in.
This is a very silly thing to be doing in 2026, but I finally tried some Quake 1 recently. Pretty cool, it's amazing how much it really does just end up feeling like Doom in 3D.
Since I played both Doom and Quake 2 back in the day, it does feel like I've finally bridged that gap, to where I think I understand what people mean when they talk about Romero's influence in the design.
Another thing I think it makes really clear is just how much room-over-room changes the way the game spaces feel, even if no one's actively thinking about that while they play.
