Any shows recommendations? I have no idea what is worth watching (since I rarely watch shows) so now Iโm watching The Mentalist from 2008. They had flip phones then.
I'm still getting used to the idea that because of Gemma 4, I'll have Windows 11 on my computer first (and that there will be a presso in Szentmihรกly), so it's hard to get started.
Onboarded on Claude Team with Unlimited credit usage. In the first day, subscription limits were hit and then it silently went on spending 530 EUR in credits before I noticed.
In a single day? Thatโs insane. Itโs 5 months on the 100$ Codex which is practically unlimited.
In a few hours, yes. Token-based pricing is insane.
I knew token-based was more expensive but didnโt imagine that much. Which is why u canโt compete making alternative coding agents, their own subscriptions are much cheaper, but why they do it on their own Teams package is weird. Maybe targetting companies they feel they can pay.
The government welds your door shut and then outlaws starting a business and living in McMansions, cars, skyscrapers, and tiny homes.
The governments bans body odor and then closes stores and bans delivery services.
The state closes bathrooms and then outlaws public urination.
The government closes the border and then arrests tourists for overstaying their visas.
I hate crawlers that donโt advertise theyโre crawlers. โn badly written. They donโt respect the canonical URLs so they keep getting themselves into a loop instead of actually crawling the site properly. They make the logs really hard to read. Canโt block them theyโre distributed.
I am curious what an actual solution to this problem could be. Everything I've read about it feels like a bandaid โ from robots.txt to cloudflare turnstile โ there has to be a better way!
It would require permaban on IPs which would require permalogging of IPs in order to track them, and we are currently obfuscating them before hitting the DB with daily rotating salt so an anonymous user canโt be tracked. So weโd have to give up privacy/security :/
I have made this longer than usual, only because I have not had the time to make it shorter ~ Blaise Pascal
So, should we all give AI agents more time so they'll write things shorter?
Too much sound deafens us; too much light dazzles us; too great distance or proximity hinders our view. Too great length and too great brevity of discourse tends to obscurity; too much truth is paralyzing. - Blaise Pascal
You reminded me of this other quote, from what I think might be my absolute favourite passage in B.Pascals Pensรฉes, thank you!
