Hmm, maybe I’ll sometimes post in Shavian anyway and translate myself. #AInotesfollow brings so many issues. It really accelerates. Not only the good parts but also the bad parts. Combine this with a product person that doesn't even know what a refinement is. I'm 41, maybe I'll study to pivot, maybe I'll get into trading. I can't handle it anymore.
…
Architect/lead have a pre-refinement with product to clear 80% of the obvious questions. We share an agenda, devs can ask questions async. In the refinement product presents, we design a solution draft. 15 minutes/item. This doesn't work if product is incompetent and everything is AI-slopped.

Say more. I've been using it this year "at scale" and it sucks in the way that everything sucks when the whole company starts using it for everything. I haven't used Ansible in over a decade, but am curious what you like about it better.
profilefollowjack of all trades linux sysadminreplied toprofilefollowNew here:
Ansible just melds with my way of thinking better. I have a really hard time wrapping my head around nested loops in HCL and the overall "ugliness" of the language. Plus, I kind of like being in control of the order things are created.

The correct and standard #Urdunotesfollow correction of your given #sentencenotesfollow is "I have brought a #giftnotesfollow, I am crazy for you". In this sentence, the correct word for 'najraja' is 'nazran' (gift), 'lekar' is written separately, and 'lay' is spelled correctly. #Grammarnotesfollow #Urdunotesfollow #Languagenotesfollow #Learningnotesfollow

This is like the third time in my life I've seen an interrobang in the wild. And I don't know, but I'd prefer JSON over having configuration as constants in a PHP script like at $DAYJOB sob

My problem with yaml is the indentation annoyance it leads to, and if you are using the same tool on two different machine like windows and linux, have fun configuring those tabs and spaces all the time. I do like toml and ini for editing, but json is not as bad as yaml for sure

Too much sound deafens us; too much light dazzles us; too great distance or proximity hinders our view. Too great length and too great brevity of discourse tends to obscurity; too much truth is paralyzing. - Blaise Pascal You reminded me of this other quote, from what I think might be my absolute favourite passage in B.Pascals Pensées, thank you!

I was curious of testing the Omarchy distribution this week just because I had some free time to work on it. I saw a lot of hate around it and kind of get the point but so far at least for what I have been doing it wasn't terrible (at least at the point of writing this) although I am not trying to convince anybody to use it. But it just remember me how much do I hate MS.
I think a lot of the pull around Omarchy is you get a riced desktop out of the box? Personally, I wouldn't really consider it for a number of reasons but I do appreciate a nice looking desktop. If you want something similarly pretty but a bit more normal and less monolithic (who needs a whole 'distro' for what Omarchy provides anyway?) approach then I'd suggest Niri + Noctalia.
