hey, are there any folks here using gemini capsules? I've got a gemini capsule over with the bods @ envs.net - wondering what the current usage was? (also, thinking about creating a gopher version of it too)

Finished, well you never really finish, setting up fedora + i3 on my ThinkPad X280. Such a lovely form-factor, & the full-screen/tiling approach for the 12.3" display works like a dream.

I needed to process 20,000 json files & 20,000 JXL files. I'm pulling together a website from them all. Anyway, started with emacs elisp to handle it all, just because I've not done that before. Went kinda ok, and I'm gonna use org-mode to export it all to a website (done that bit loads of times before). In the end, I ended up breaking out my C programming skills (late 80s->nowish). It was a delight. Nothing more refreshing than writing raw code, that doesn't rely on 3rd party code/libs. #prognotesfollow

So, I just got an invite to the new W Social (EU) platform. It requires proper ID authentication - so actual provable humans are on there. Feels good and slightly optimistic. Let's see how it goes. #wsocialnotesfollow

I love the "feel" of this place. It's minimal, but not too minimal. Nice work! I'm probably gonna be a little chatty on here. If anyone minds that, then just @ me :-) #launchnotesfollow

Also, thank you for not turning my emoticons into emoji!! As someone from the pre-internet era, I appreciate that :-)
